Top Brass and Wind was founded in 2017. Jackie Adams leads the band having previously led the junior section of the Gillingham Imperial Silver Band. We play a range of music with an emphasis on well-known tunes. Our current players include trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, tenor horn, tuba, saxophone and percussion. We hold several concerts yearly and have raised funds recently for dementia charities.

Dipping in our music pads, we have tunes such as 'Save the Last Dance for Me', performed by artists such as Ben E King, 'Sea Songs' composed by Vaughan Williams, 'She's the One' by Robbie Williams, and 'Sir Duke' by Stevie Wonder.

We currently play in the band room of the Gillingham Imperial Silver Band on Wednesday evenings in term time.

We charge £4 per night or there is a termly fee,

We welcome new players who can read music and have a background in playing music.  You will need to bring your own instrument.
