Welcome to Top Brass and Wind
Top Brass and Wind was founded in 2017. Jackie Adams leads the band, having previously inspired many young players in the junior section of Gillingham Imperial Silver Band. Over the years, we have included a variety of instruments in our number, including trombones, trumpets, clarinets, flutes, euphoniums, drums, tubas, bass guitars, oboes, tenor horns, saxophones, and flugelhorns.
Dipping into our extensive music pads, we play popular songs, film and theatre scores, swing, blues, rock and roll, and jazz.

2026 Autumn Term
Wednesdays starting at 7pm in the Band Room of the Gillingham Imperial Band, unless otherwise stated
September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd,30th
October 7th, 14th, 21st, (23rd Friday- rehearsal for concert in St Mary's Church)
Concert St Mary's Church Gillingham, Saturday 24th October 6:30pm
No rehearsal 28th October
November 4th, 18th, 25th
December 2nd, 9th and 16th.
Cost
There is a termly fee but we also accept cash payment on the night of £5 per session
Autumn Term fee £70
